The Ultimate Boys’ Weekend: Golf and Glamor in Las Vegas

Sometimes, all you need to get away, cool off, and reframe your mind is a bit of an outing with the boys. And what better theme for a boys’ weekend than golf and glamor in Las Vegas? Here’s the ideal itinerary for your next guys’ get-together. Feel free to tweak it to suit your group, and don’t forget—the caddie can make or break the weekend!

Day 1: Arrival and Teeing Off

Morning: Arrival and Check-In

Las Vegas is chock full of luxury hotels, so take your pick! Choose one that satisfies all your boys’ weekend whims; on-site casinos, spacious suites, and pools to relax at. There’s no need to choose a hotel with an on-site golf course unless you’re not planning on leaving the premises once you’re settled in.

Consider booking a suite for your group to enjoy plenty of space but still be able to socialize in between golf and other adventures. Suites may also come with exclusive services that regular rooms don’t.

Afternoon: Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

Featuring 3 Pete Dye courses, there’s plenty to get excited about at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. Each course offers something unique, so choose wisely!

Snow Mountain is known for its wide fairways, but don’t get complacent because the greens are challenging. Best for guys with a mean putting game! Sun Mountain is rife with elevation changes and has an amazing view over the desert. The Wolf is the longest of the 3 and is known for its spectacular and challenging water hazards, including an island on the 15h hole.

P.S. If you’d like one of our caddies to join you on this course, please make a reservation 72 hours in advance.

Evening: Relax and Dine

For your first guys’ dinner out, we recommend STK Steakhouse. Located in The Cosmopolitan, its lively atmosphere is a fun way to kick off your weekend. Sink your teeth into prime cuts of beef, enjoy fresh seafood, and browse through their extensive wine list to round out your meal.

After dinner, settle down at The Chandelier, a multi-level bar located close by. Try some of their innovative cocktail creations, and enjoy the vibrant ambiance as you unwind and set the tone for the rest of the weekend.

Day 2: Golf, Adventure, and Nightlife

Morning: Bali Hai Golf Club

This course is just minutes away from the Strip and features a cool, calm tropical atmosphere. Expect palm trees, lagoon-like water hazards, and lush fairways. It’s a uniquely enjoyable experience, but don’t let that fool you—the course is as challenging as it is visually stunning. You may want to warm up on the driving range first—get your bad shots out of your system on the golf mats and not on the course.

An island green on the 16th hole and the picturesque view of the clubhouse on the 18th hole make it even more exciting. Be aware that if you want a gorgeous caddie with you on this course, it may come with some restrictions, although their company will still make your round better!

Afternoon: Adrenaline-Packed Activities

Break up the golf with a bit of a thrill. We recommend picking one of the two most adrenaline-pumping activities in Las Vegas:

  • Two-Hour Exotic Car Driving Experience (by Exotics Racing): Ever wanted to get behind the wheel of a supercar? Now you can. Choose from Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Ford Mustangs, and more for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Get professional coaching and take these babies around the track at high speed… What more could you ask for?
  • Las Vegas Desert ATV Experience (by Best ATV Tours Las Vegas): Prefer to go adventuring off-road? Hop on an ATV and hit the Nevada Desert for a trail ride you won’t soon forget! Enjoy the precision of handling a high-performance ATV over rugged desert ground and the freedom of opening it up when you find an open patch of ground. A great dose of nature and adventure.

Evening: Explore the Nightlife

Savor a classic Italian-American fish at Carbone, located in Aria. Menu highlights include veal parmesan, spicy rigatoni vodka, and the best Caesar salad in the region. Vintage decor gives it an old-school charm, making it a great place to hang out with the guys and enjoy a decent meal and good company.

Crown the night with a visit to Omnia nightclub if you’re in the mood to dance. The club regularly features well-known DJs, so book a table in advance if you want to secure a spot. If you’re not in the mood for noise, head back to the hotel and enjoy a quieter evening with a cocktail or two.

Day 3: Final Round

Morning: Bear’s Best Las Vegas

If you’re a serious golfer, you can’t miss the chance to play a round at Bear’s Best Las Vegas. This one-of-a-kind course was designed by legend Jack Nicklaus and features 18 replicas of his most famous holes on other courses around the world.

The desert scenery is stunning, and each hole is meticulously created to be as close as possible to the original. It’s a special course and just the right blend of challenging and fun. Best make good use of your training aids leading up to this course, because it’s not an easy one!

Evening: Farewell Dinner

Finish off your weekend with a delectable meal at Nobu, a Japanese restaurant in Caesars Palace. Dine on celebrity-quality sushi, sashimi, and their signature dishes, including black cod miso and yellowtail jalapeño.

Night: Final Toast

To end off your boys’ weekend, head to Skyfall Lounge at Delano. It’s a sophisticated bar with jaw-dropping views of the Las Vegas Strip, so you can enjoy your final evening in style.

The modern decor and panoramic views make this a worthwhile spot to spend an evening. Sample their diverse range of cocktails, drink in the ambiance, and plan your next golf getaway with the guys!

Conclusion

The ultimate boys’ weekend might look a little different for everyone, but you can’t go wrong with golf, adventure, good food, and cocktails. And, of course, a little bit of spice on the golf course with your own personal caddie!
